The sun was just beginning to appear over the Paris skyline, long tendrils of light creeping their way through the narrow streets and quiet paths, sending long shadows scurrying away from the early risers as they hurried off to work, desperate to beat the traffic or someone else to their job or who knew what else.

She slowly opened her eyes, the vision of a park that was obviously not in the deep jungle coming into focus. War took a quick glance at her surroundings.
...Nope, no idea where she was. No idea why she was on a bench in a strange town with the beginnings of a raging headache next to a strange woman. Best to figure that out so she could get back as soon as possible and find some aspirin. She turned to the young lady next to her and raised an eyebrow. Well, well, a notepad and an obvious disinterest in her newspaper. Maybe this could get interesting, she thought with a chuckle.

Which meant, when there was suddenly a woman sitting next to her, Mireille's internal alarms went off as if someone had just set fire to her foot. She managed not hide her reaction, almost...a startled glance towards the woman, staring at her through her glasses...and then her free hand slipped into her purse, wrapping firmly around the handle of her pistol.
For all she knew, the woman was just your normal pedestrian who had stopped to take a rest...but the fact that Mireille hadn't noticed her, At All, sort of indicated that she was trained. Well trained.
And now, suddenly, the blondes head was starting to hurt. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice level, without even looking over again.
