Update
It's really been seven months since I updated my journal here! For that I can only apologise and try to update you all on what I've been doing in that time.
I've been working at the hospital, I haven't really had a holiday yet because something always seems to come up on the days I book off. First I didn't want to leave a patient because they'd been waiting for their surgery for a while and it seemed important that I went to watch since I'd got to know them and everything, then a huge paper came up and I couldn't really afford to take the time off and let my mark suffer. The experience is good for me though right? I have a few days off coming up next week, here's hoping I actually get to use them, it'll be good to catch up on sleep if nothing else.
Miya has been coming around a lot to watch movies with Sora. I now know far more than any man should about chick flicks and romantic comedies. (I might even quite like them now ^_^;;). Also the guy who owns our local grocery store actually thinks I have shares in ice-cream because I keep going to buy it, I just keep hoping that if I buy enough he'll give me a discount some day.
I turned 21 in June, for some reason Sora seemed to think it was important that I go and get wasted in the bar she works at. So that's what I did for my birthday. (I have a horrible blurry memory of actually dancing on the bar at some point, I'm never drinking again!)
So anyway it would be nice to get together with some of you guys, catch up on things and all that jazz. I'm pretty sure I could even beat some of you at poker now (the old guys at the hospital have taught me a few tricks, my poker face needs work though). Also I think Miya might be making plans to try and fetch some of our digimon from the digital world, I don't know how many of you would be interested in that. We could at least check up on things there and see if it's settled down at all.
