for my chilly friends who can sew

Baby, it's cold outside, but you got a microwave, a sewing machine, and scrap fabric somewhere. Here are instructions for an easy rice pillow to keep you warm.

1. Sew a small cotton fabric pillow, about the length and width of a shoebox.
2. Fill pillow to 60-75% of its capacity with dry uncooked rice... you may also add dried mint, lemon verbena, rosemary, lavender, cloves. The pillow is supposed to be floppy.
3. Sew pillow shut.
4. Microwave on HIGH for up to 2 minutes.
5. Cuddle with it under a blanket.
6. Repeat as needed.
