I think I broke my record of how high I can fly. Then it got too cold and somewhat harder to breathe, so I needed to come back down. Maybe during summer it might be easier to test this better? Not sure if I ever really need to get that up for anything of importance, but the view is amazing~ I also brought some clouds with me. Too bad they're not ( Read more... )

Um, Chitose? Might I recommend not traveling that high again unless you're looking to feel like you were dealing with the conditions on Mt. Everest but possibly worse. Normal people can't survive for very long at that height. Demi-god or not, you shouldn't tempt the Moirai to come after you like that, nor should you try to get too close to the Heavens.

[OOC: I'm assuming that since it was cold and hard to breathe that he went to Mt. Everest height or higher. >>]

Relax, I came back didn't I? I'm not crazy enough to actually stay up there for too long. Plus it's too exhausting to do that often. It's not like I tried to reach Heavens or Everest, was just testing my limits and they went higher than I thought. More rest for me, basically~

(ooc: something like that, yeah. he kind of just went with it since he could... )

Even if you didn't stay up there too long, it's still pretty crazy that you tried it in the first place. And I hope you don't keep trying that regularly. I'm pretty sure that can't be good for your body at all. The fact that you will need a good bit of rest to recover from it should be proof of that. On top of that, if you keep trying to get even higher, you might end up giving our parents an impromptu visit that they probably wouldn't appreciate. So try to be careful and not get too high above the clouds.

[OOC: Jackal shall dote upon thee and be like, that's stupid! Don't do that! ><; Because he must fuss over people when they are recklessness and thus not being considerate of their personal health. ^^;]

I don't think I could reach our parent's place I might get zapped down by dad before that. I wasn't planning on going any higher than that anyway, you can stop worrying, Jackal.

That being said, I will fly high from time to time to build my tolerance to be higher than usual. Just not that high probably.

(ooc: Chitose appreciates it and all, but at the same time he's all relax, I'm not crazy enough to try something like that again... for a while...)

I hope you're right about that. The man does have his hands full enough as it is with this crazy world without having to worry about a son deciding to pick a fight with the Fates and pay a visit. You're still going uncomfortably high. I'm allowed to worry, Chitose.

Probably isn't comforting. Especially when you strike it out.

[OOC: Looks like someone has decided to be on Jackal's dote radar for a while. :|]

Normally a dad should be proud of such an achievement. Alas. I guess I can't talk you out of worrying too much.

Whoops? What can I say, I'm bad at resisting temptations of adventures.

(ooc: Haha... it may be a good thing someone worries.)

Maybe he would be proud of it as a father. ....But as a king of the gods, he'd probably also punish you for disobeying the rules. Though maybe you should be glad you're in that position. If you managed to get there and were in any other position, he'd probably zap you into ciders or something. Plenty of people have tried. The most clever and lucky of individuals in the camp. They've all failed in convincing me not to worry about them. Give it up, Chitose.

Choose other adventures that test your limits then. Instead of flying higher, fly longer. See more places like the Hermes cabin seems to do, but even quicker than they can, because you're above them~

[OOC: Officially doting over Chitose: CONFIRMED.]

I still think it's pretty impossible to actually fly there, though, but it's interesting to have theories. Fine, fine. I'll just have to make it so you don't have to be worried.

Well, I should practice flying longer distances. I'm still pretty bad at those and get tired too easily... I guess I'll get to that next.
