[The end of the Christmas madness saw Fran much the same way as anyone else. First, she woke up in her bed having recovered from a grievous head wound. After that, she went downstairs and found a present from Santa. Upon seeing the photo inside, her eyes lit up as best they could and she vanished into the basement

[Fran glances down as she hurries home from school, science textbooks clutched in her arms]

[The dog lets out a small yap in response, wagging its tail happily.]

[Fran reaches down to pet the dog and then continues on her way]

[The dog continues to follow and, after a while, there's another sound over the tapping of its toenails on the concrete.]

[Fran glances back at the noise, looking around for the source]

Hmmmm?

Down here! [wag, wag.]

[relaxiamadoctor]

[Fran glances back down at the dog]

Oh, you can talk?

[a_crazygirl]

Yeah! More than that, even!

[There's a flash of light, and Toni is standing where the dog was a second ago.]

Wanted to make sure you weren't droned before I did that. [grin]

[Fran nods]

A fair concern~ It seems many people have been getting interesting things back since the last incident~ How do you do that exactly? Metamorphosis? Cellular shift?
