[The end of the Christmas madness saw Fran much the same way as anyone else. First, she woke up in her bed having recovered from a grievous head wound. After that, she went downstairs and found a present from Santa. Upon seeing the photo inside, her eyes lit up as best they could and she vanished into the basement

[Walking down the street, Miki sees someone with a sack wandering around the woods picking up corpses. Since this is more interesting than her current task of doing nothing, Miki silently approaches Fran as she collects a her next prize.]

"Uhh, what are you doing?"

[relaxiamadoctor]

[Fran glances up, at the girl and then back to the sack she's carrying]

The town saw fit to return my lab, so I'm gathering research materials~

[nomammano]

"Is this like science and stuff?"

[relaxiamadoctor]

Yes, I'm a biologist~

[nomammano]

"So you're gonna dissect those things? I though that was only frogs"

[relaxiamadoctor]

Some disection, yes~ And then perhaps putting them back together~

[Fran ponders a moment]

You're new around here, yes? I'm Fran Madaraki~ I think I saw you at school~

[nomammano]

[Miki chews over Fran's original answer and everything seems to add up in that 2+2=5 kinda way.]

"Yeah, I'm a teacher at the school now. Not quite sure how either happened but whatever, it's a job."

[relaxiamadoctor]

[She shoulders the sack]
