14th Surgery - Good Mooooorning From The Factory

Jul 08, 2010 11:44

Throughout the night, strange noises came from the back of the factory. Sounds of flesh being torn up by gears and other metal equipment, and the sound of cows crying out.

The morning saw Ema Skye running around the factory, posting new instructions with the permission of Forman Kohaku. The instructions were....strange...depicting images of parts of cows being attached to parts of tractors. But the factory began work that day with no immediate changes.

At the stroke of noon however, the loudspeakers whine to life with a squeal of feedback and Fran's voice echoes out over the factory floor.

"*SKREEEEEEEEE* Ahm....ahem...sorry......BEGIN THE OPERATION!"

The tractor production lines stop for a moment, and then lurch back to life, now carrying parts of cows among the tractor parts. The cow parts had been prepared with pipes and bolts thrust into them, ready to make the attachments listed on the instructions.

Fran herself runs around the factory floor like a madwoman, helping drones and still self-aware workers alike with the new instructions, as well as putting a few parts together herself. She barks out orders with the tone and authority of a doctor in the operating room, but her eyes have the look of a woman who hasn't slept in over a day. Her face and arms are covered in cuts and lacerations, and it looks like two of her fingers are missing as well. Occasionally she runs to the end of the assembly line, putting adjustments on the tractor engines, attaching beets and potatoes to the engine battery through a horrid mass of complex wiring.

fourth of july, communist mayfield, begin the operation, tractors, event, cows
