Fakesgiving

Since Ron's brother is getting married over Thanksgiving and he and my mom will be out in Vegas for that, we are celebrating Thanksgiving (or fakesgiving as my sister coined it) tomorrow. I spent most of my day yesterday cleaning up the house to get ready since everyone is meeting at my house. Sarah and Kevin are coming, my mom and Ron, Lexi, Laura, and Fred. I'm incredibly excited that Fred decided to come. I actually met his folks last weekend. That is really strange for me to "meet the parents" so soon, but everything has been so laid back that it wasn't a big deal. I'm hoping that how things are tomorrow as well.

Things are going so well with Fred. He is such a change from most of the guys I've dated in the past. We actually both have our own lives and can do things separately but still want to catch up with each other at the end of the day. He actually has his own friends that he hangs out with and understands that I like to have time with my friends and by myself. And it is so nice to be able to be around him but still be able to work. I'm not expected to be entertainment 24/7. Just given those things, it is already going better than most of my past relationships. I was talking to Lexi in the physics hallway today, and the professor I TA lab for came out and said, "What's going on? You are glowing."

Next week Fred and I are headed up to Jenny's mountain house. I've been up there once before in the summer and it is really amazing. I'm really looking forward the trip. So yeah, things are going pretty well for me right now.
