1. Are you currently in a serious relationship? Yep. 2. What was your dream growing up? Do you mean career-wise? I wanted to be an English teacher, for the most part, except for brief moments in time when I wanted to be 1) an astronaut, 2) a ballerina, 3) a cellist, 4) a French teacher, 5) a poet, and 6) a missionary. That’s not in chronological order. 3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could play a bluegrass fiddle or a piano - in oldies rock and roll style. 4. If I bought you a drink what would it be? A Blue Moon or something involving fruit juice and liquor (especially things with pomegranates, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, or citrus fruits involved). 5. Favorite vegetable? potato, followed closely by fresh corn. 6. What was the last book you read? Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy (for class). 7. What zodiac sign are you? Scorpio. 8. Any tattoos and/or piercings? Explain where. None of the above. Sometimes I consider getting my ears pierced but inevitably change my mind. I’ve never thought of a tattoo I would want forever. 9. Worst habit? Procrastination. (This meme is case in point, I’m afraid.) 10. If you saw me walking down the street would you offer me a ride? Of course. I could even creepily offer you candy, if you'd like. 11. What is your favorite sport? To play? Badminton, disc golf, ultimate Frisbee, or basketball. To watch - rugby. 12. Do you have a negative or optimistic attitude? Optimistic. Always. 13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? Well, first I would see if I had cell service. If not, I would pick up the phone thing and call for help. Then we would sit on the floor and play GHOST and finally get caught up on chatting. Hopefully if we were stuck in there for a while, one of us would be carrying travel Scrabble. 14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? Physically? Once I almost drowned and had to have CPR. Also, I have cracked the bone in my wrist and had to wear a cast. Emotionally? I’d say dealing with suicidal people and/or certain members of my immediate family. Mentally? This grad school thing is melting my brain. 15. Tell me one weird fact about you. I used to butter my bread before toasting it; now I toast my bread before buttering it. 16. Do you have any pets? Technically I have a cat named Orreo III (Little O) who lives with my mom. 17. What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly? I would be surprised? 18. What was your first impression of me? Well, we’ve had this talk already. I only caught brief moments with you for a long time and I barely knew you. I thought that you tried too hard to sound smart and be liked by everyone. Then I realized that you really do talk like that and that we should hang out. 19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? Eh - whatever. Neither really. Funny/aggravating? 20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? My weight. 21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? Both - duh. 22. What color eyes do you have? Dark brown with greenish hazel rings. 23. Ever been arrested? Nope. 24. Bottle or can soda? Water. I haven't had soda in a while. 25. If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it? Put it in the bank. (Maybe convert it to Euros.) 27. What's your favorite place to hang? Wherever my favorite folks are. I am a big fan of little restaurants, parks, libraries, and living rooms. 28. Do you believe in ghosts? I don’t know. Mostly I don’t. 29. Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Sleep. Read brain candy. If I had enough time, visit folks or go new places. 30. Do you swear a lot? Yeah, kinda. It depends upon the circumstances. The longer and better I know someone, the more they have to hear me curse. 31. Biggest pet peeve? Egregious grammar errors. 32. In one word, how would you describe yourself? Serendipitous. 33. Do you believe in/appreciate romance? Of course. The most romantic things to me: small thoughtful gestures, holding hands, mother nature, and picnics. 34. Do you believe in God? Yes. Absolutely. From a heartfelt standpoint and from a cynical Pascal’s wager-type standpoint. 35. Will you repost this so I can fill it out and do the same for you? Ok.
