Uriah B. Ragsdale, 18, of Overland Park, formerly of Pittsburg, KS, passed away June 25, 2004, in Lynn County, KS. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Unity Church of Overland Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the church, 10300 Antioch, Overland Park, KS 66212. He is survived by his mother, Karen L. Ragsdale; father, Calvin Moore; sisters, Lavonia Ragsdale, Evangela Moore, Lexie D. Moore and Jessica Joy Fisher; younger brother, Fonzo Delaughter; aunts, Patty Ragsdale and Pauline Shadden; cousins, Marcus and Marcy Shadden. He was preceded in death by his heartstring, his maternal grandmother, Ouida Gail. His paternal grandmother, Lavonia Moore and extended family share this intense loss. Uriah, a bright, deeply loving soul is remembered by a multitude of loving friends, family and Unity Church of Overland Park. We all remember him as the powerful, generous open-heart that shines God's love and magnificence with every step, every hello and certainly in every genuine, gorgeous smile.
