The library was not the most traditonal of rooms to decorate for Christmas, but it was large and cozy with big armchairs and a log fire and was, unless the Tardis decided to move it, situated conveniently close to the console room. There was a tree decorated with candles ("Have you notheard of fire safety?" exclaimed Tegan the first time she saw it - but it did look pretty.), tinsel was hung along bookshelves, and near to the fireplace was stood a small table with a number of brightly wrapped packages on it. Tegan was curled in an armchair next to the table, wearing an over-sized wooly jumper and holding a mince pie in one hand and a chocolate in the other, feeling almost revoltingly festive as she waited for the others to turn up so that she could give them their gifts.
