Koschei spent a fair amount of time running checks on his TARDIS's systems after his less than fantastic materialisation. At the moment, his TARDIS was in more-or-less working order, though the chamelion circuit was taking longer than he expected. Which meant it was stuck, for now, looking like a blue Police Call Box.
