Someone does wander in. Perhaps not someone she'd want to see, but never the less, he does. He runs his fingers across the console and smiles brightly when he sees her. "Why hello there."

She glances up at him, seemingly without much interest, and in one smooth, casual motion erases a line of writing from its place in the air.
"Hello. Did you stop by for a cup of tea or an extended chat about breakfast cereals?"

Amused, he said, "Actually, I saw the door open and couldn't help but be nosy. Though a cup of tea would be nice."

He noticed the erasure of the line and is curious, but doesn't say anything. For all he knows, it has nothing to do with him.

She wasn't about to tell him if it had anything to do with him. "Did you bring one with you?" She added something to the list of information on her little computer.

"Who're y-" Tegan began as she stepped inside, then "Oh, rabbits, wrong Tardis!"

The Doctor looked up sharply and then grinned. "Tegan! Hand me my atmospheric stylograph, will you?" Which had somehow fallen and rolled to about a foot away from where Tegan was standing. "And mind the wire." Which, for reasons unknown to any but the Doctor, snaked around the floor in a roundabout manner before finally leading into the console.

"This?" Tegan picked up the atmospheric stylograph and was about to step forward to hand it over when she realised what the woman had said. "Hang on. How do you know my name?" she demanded with a frown, part-way between suspicion and wariness.

"Yes, that." She sighed when Tegan hesitated. They had to go through this, did they? "I'm the Doctor. It's good to see you again." And it would be even better when Tegan gave her the atmospheric stylograph. She held out her hand for it.
