Open RP (anyone feel free to interrupt the Doctor's read)
The Doctor had left the two Aces on the porch to discuss... whatever it is they were discussing. Him, probably, and the doppelganger he had wandering somewhere about this house of Sarah Jane's. The Hand of Omega followed him inside, fitting itself through a door much narrower than it was by some trick of dimensional manipulation (nothing surprising there).
He looked around and didn't immediately see anyone, so he began to explore the house a bit, figuring he could speak to himself later. The Hand continued to follow him though he'd almost gotten to the point where he could ignore it now.
There was the kitchen, the bathroom, the library... the library was particularly interesting, as it was filled with books. The Doctor liked books, after all. On the whole, he preferred them to people. They were always full of interesting facts, thoughts and ideas and didn't argue with you after all.
The Doctor pulled a book from the shelf, sat down on the casket he knew was floating directly behind him and opened it to the first page to begin reading...
