A Night Out On the Town (Alt!Ace, Alt!Seven)
Ace had brought her bag of clothes into Sarah Jane's and was now in an upstairs bedroom, putting on her clothes in front of a mirror. She and the Doctor were going out on the town for a much-deserved break, and she was getting ready.
On a lark she'd decided to leave her hair down. It was always pulled back so tightly and this ... felt nice. Free. She'd also put on the nicest shirt she had, a red v-neck wraparound, along with jeans that went over her boots. Impulsively, she added earrings and then fretted over her tomboyish looks before finally sticking her tongue at her reflection.
Without realizing it, her brain had gone into impress-the-Professor mode.
She put the finishing touches on her ensemble, then headed out to the TARDIS, excited and with butterflies fluttering in her stomach.
