sorry for the rash of postings. i am overcompensating for losing ALL MY WRTING throug lj graphomania. and i can't stand the sight of my con law paper anymore.

ten things i should have learned from listening to music...(and the songs i should have learned them from)

1.) This will go down on your permanent record. (The Violent Femmes-"Kiss Off")
2.) It's not going to stop till you wise up. (Aimee Mann-"Wise Up")
3.) Sleeping is giving in. (The Arcade Fire-"Rebellion (Lies)")
4.) When you ain't got nothing, you got nothing to lose. (Bob Dylan-you know that one)
5.) Selling acid was a bad idea, selling it to a cop was a worse one (The Mountain Goats-"Fall of the Star High School Running Back")
Serious #5.) You cannot run, and you cannot hide. (The Mountain Goats-"The Mess Inside")
6.) It's harder to be friends than lovers. (Liz Phair-"Divorce Song")
7.) Everyone is broken (Radiohead-"Planet Telex")
8.) There's joy untold, lays open like a road in front of me. (PJ Harvey-"Angelene")
9.) With every broken heart we should become more adventurous (Rilo Kiley-the aptly named "More Adventurous")
and of course, 10.) We can make money to burn if you allow me to lay this game. (The Roots-"The Seed (2.0)")

I've often thought of putting the countdown part of "Kiss Off" ("I take one, one, one cuz you left me and two, two, two for my family...") in my "about me" on Facebook, but i worry people would think I was suicidal. survey says?

(if any of you saw that question and wanted to respond "Doable.", you have clearly seen Clueless a lot)
