Apparently I never put together a post for the last day of the Thanksgiving Coast trip. Oops. Webland got all the gloom, but missed our sunny paddle.
At this late date, I've not much to say about it, other then it was sunny, and there were stumps all over the bay from hugemongous trees, which have become their own ecosystems.

We launched from a nice public beach that involved a long-ish carry, but this time the tide was coming in, and we were able to jump in and let the water come to us.

We paddled past a seal colony, and saw not one or two heads pop up, but more like 20 at once, watching us as we headed into the bay. The wind picked up, but the sun kept us warm, and we skirted the edge of a marsh. Marsh birds took off in giant flocks.
A couple sea stacks are visible from the highway here, and during low tide they are probably accessible, but we were able to paddle around them.

After paddling, we changed in the van and walked over to a pirate themed bakery for munchies before hitting the road for home. We also found lots of pirate-themed toys there, and picked up some extra pirate duckies ('cause you can never have too many).
