Aftermath

Yesterday was my Birthday. Pretty mediocre I spose, no harm no foul.

I went with Jeff and Rachel out to the local Greek Resteraunt to be tantalized with very mediocre gyros and an atmosphere quite unpleasent for what I was looking. A law recently passed in Indiana forces resteraunts that wish to retain a smoking section to classify themselves as a bar, and since this resteraunt had a higher patronage of smokers than not, they are now a bar. I don't like bars.

Anyways, after that we rented Sin City and Triangle. We watched Sin City on Jeff's big screen (going through that again, it seems someone had a fixation on male reproductive organs... what with them being shot/stabbed/ripped off all the time), and I haven't watched Triangle yet.

My birthday also happened to be the first day of Math 511, my first graduate level course. I came in late because a convention being held at IUPUI swamped all the parking, and I lacked a book and paper. I was also sleepy and had trouble staying awake during the first half of class (although a drink during the second aleviated that problem).

So far for my birthday, I recieved a new Vacuum cleaner from R's parents (which has already cleaned the house nicely, and dirtied it and myself in the process)... so... I guess what remains would be:
1. New Mouse Pad (its a birthday present, make it a nice one ;P)

4. A conversion port to change an internal hard drive into an external one (check newegg, they have them there around $20)
5. Kingdom Hearts II (and Kingdom Hearts for that matter) [Video Game for PS2 if you didn't know]
6. Dead Like Me Season 1
7. Berserk Episode 6 (named Godhand or some such)
Also, I think Jeff is going to get me a mousepad. My Sister got me the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory soundtrack... and my parents got me a laser mouse that wont work with Jeff's mouse pad... hrm...
That's basically all I can pull out of my head for now.

I also got to spend 20 minutes talking to technical support from Turbine trying to figure out why my credit card information was being rejected while I was trying to upgrade Rachel's DDO account from guest to retail. Turns out, after calling my bank, I was putting in the wrong CVV code. So I also placed an order for a new card from them so I can read the darn thing.

Also, when we got home, it was too late for Rachel to make me that Strawberry Rhuebarb Pie she said she would, and she feels bad about it. I feel bad that SHE feels bad =/. But what I find most funny about that issue is that she kept saying she was sorry because the previous S.R.P. she made (the day before) was gobbled up at work so fast the only guy she really liked there wasn't able to get a piece. I guess my sense of humor is slightly twisted.

Oh well... another year older, and the child in me dies a little more.

Daniel Out.
