So, taking yesterday as an example of when my luck is actually active...
It started when we went to a friends house. Standard stuff, park car on his driveway, lock car, shut door, realize finger is in door, try gently to move it, try opening door, get bright idea, take out keys, unlock door, remove finger, lock, shut (w/o finger this time) door, go inside. My finger was very nice and kind not to really bleed until we had some bandaides and rubbing alcohol out for it... then, whooo! went through two doublestacked bandaides that night...
Later on, I decide I want to start work on my pre-epic character (starting at level 18), so I go about explaining some of her backstory to my friends while setting up my dice... the first column of 4d6 (taking the 3 highest) scored as follows:
9
11
10
10
11
8
After that, laughing the whole while, I continued to roll until Rachel stole my first set of dice and eventually, while doing a column of 9d6 3 highest, my third roll wound up as a 7. At this, my friend threw my dice away (he got them back out, but I was still laughing so hard...)
Right after that, I went to go get a drink from his fridge, and managed to step on the carpet-colored veggie (only one there) that had apparently fallen unnoticed a few minutes earlier. Cold and disgusting, yech. Threw it away, tried to open pop can, which the tab failed to do so utterly. It shoved a bit on the opening before breaking off.
I know I'm lucky and it amuses me. Mostly 'cause its bad luck, and for some reason I find this funny as shit after a point...
Daniel Out.
(P.S. Since it was my right index that got smashed in the cardoor, I've found how annoying it is to type w/o it... it suxx0rz! That is all.)
