I have a project in my education H341 class in which I have to examine some aspect of culture and do an analysis and breakdown of how it affects learning and performance within the classroom, as well as possible ways I could counter-balance this should it be a negative effect in need of it. So far I have two ideas, and I need to come up with something more concrete by Wednesday. Here they is:

First is effects of depression in the classroom due to the popular image of ideal masculinity/feminimity within our culture.

Second was the effect of strong feminine role models from the mid to late 90's TV culture (serries, two in specific) on gender roles and possible performance within the classroom, using the two serries Xena: Warrior Princess and Star Treck: Voyager as my models, with "7 of 9" and Xena as the exact models in question.

Any suggestions?
