I have to comment on the part about the baby food. What you say is so true! When my baby started eating food, we just tossed our food into the blender and fed it to him. As he got older we used different settings. Thank God I never had to mess with formula or bottles either, because I think it would have given me a permanent migraine. We watered down juice for him, and fed him malt-o-meal instead of baby cereal. You can get it in five pound bags instead of tiny little boxes. It's so much cheaper and more convenient that way, and I don't know how people can afford to buy all that stuff they make for babies, or how they can keep their sanity sorting through it all. I guess though with this fast-paced world we're living in all the jars and boxes of food are quicker and easier, especially for working Moms and Dads. But what's with all the baby and toddler snacks? What's the difference between Gerber cookies and animal crackers? And their lil' entrees are so expensive, especially when you can get ravioli or spaghettios 3/$1 or less at Wal-Mart!
