My lack of posting, I realized, is due to me having a life. Haha. Had so much less homework this week because I started pia-ing last weekend, and went out quite a bit! Went to eat Abeno Too at Chinatown, which is this Okonomiyaki shop. I was wondering why they have long queues during peak hours, and I finally know why. The waitresses (by convention) are not only waitresses, but cooks and cashiers. They take your order, prepare the ingredients, serve you miso soup and starters, cook your okonomiyaki in front of you, passes you the bill and collects money! Finally, they shout in unison, Arigatou gozaimasu~~~
Now i understand why i didnt really eat much teppenyaki or okonomiyaki in singapore. It's the oily smell after that.. Well, and they are rather costly too. Like this Okonomiyaki Toyko mix set lunch I had was 10.80pounds! Then we ordered dessert which costs 4.95 pounds! It had small scoops of green tea ice cream and mochi and red bean paste and some fruit. Yikes. Think about it. 10+ for a dessert. lol. R treated so I was happy for the rest of the day having my stomach filled with absolute goodness. :D
After, it was shopping at Oxford street. This is when I fell in love with a Red Coat from Zara which was on offer, 30pounds. BUT!!!!!!! It was one size too huge and I went back whining all the way. No luck at High street Kensington's branch either (I just checked ytd :P).
Thursday during Buddhist soc meeting, I finally understood what that lady was chanting at the beginning now. Since it was translated from Pali to English for us. But we chanted in Pali. Hmmm.
Friday I totally let go. lol. No I'm not going to do work attitude. First was shop, then I shopped or dinner. You see, I was going to make Green Curry and I made for two because I have instructions for two :P Yes. So i had to buy the Vege and Tofu and spices such as Lemongrass and Basil leaves and green chilli. Not forgetting the Pork. Preparation was done in the matter of 30 minutes because I am anal with Peppers. Made coconut rice too! (Refrained from calling it nasi lemak since it lacked the KEY ingredient (which I forgot to buy) pandan leaves!) Overall, it was too spicy for me since I havent had spicy food in ages, but absolutely yummilicious! :D
Early dinner because I had International Night! To go to. The host is this Chem Eng Guy called E.d. Mar.tins and he's DAMN HOT apparently. Because I dint get to see his hot bode. But shuai to the max on the outside. He can tap dance, he's fit, he holds tonnes of positions and he single handedly oversaw this iNight to the end. Waaaa. No wonder A is going gaga over him :P hahaha. Love his sense of humour too, totally british :D
iNight was interesting! Got to see lots of Greek folk dance and stuff. Pretty challenging I would see. Lots of footwork. They're the Cypriots society. Let's have a video:

Arab soc was kinda rubbish story badbadbad story of Aladdin. The Tiger kept zao-genging! To many guy's happiness i might add. There was the Dance company (where E.M. did tap dance with 4 or 5 other girls) French Society where they did ballet-ish stuff. Many many more, and the Best act of the night was Japanese Society! (the main reason I was there)
Basically it was a skit, lame story about two sushi chefs fighting to get the best ingredients to win the Sushi X Factor or something. So as usual, getting the best ingredients allows for alot of kok things to happen. What they did was use Sound effects rather than words. Some random shouting sometimes to explain whats happening from the "host" of the skit. hahaha. There were Cross dressers (as geishas, and he exposed his "boob" which was pink with alot of air), weird characters (green monster kerokero? who was wearing GREEN STOCKINGS and some tight thing inside which made him look butt naked!!!!!), Sumo wrestler (pumped with air for the size), Gay (played by an Angmoh who basically had a theme song "Let me take you to the GAY BAR GAY BAR" and he just keeps doing pelvic thrusts >< really good play though!), and two guys who revealed their chests, and sadako and i dont really rmb who else. hahaha overall a freaking funny play with veryvery good timing! since they have to match their actions with the sound.
