It's time to bring it back to life! With a lively photo!
This is part of a series of photographs taken at my cousin's newly furbished house somewhere in Lentor. We hired a professional photographer to take family photos for us :) It was great fun helping people dress up and getting dressed up by others ^^ And of course, looking at how everyone looks mightily different with make up and all on :D Despite the fun, it was a tiring process. More photos on facebook but i shall be nice and place some here ^^
I enjoyed this summer in sense that i got to travel with my parents, spend many lunches with my brother and even caught a movie!, had a full cousins outing, many crowded dinners at lentor and this exciting photoshoot. :D Feels quite fulfilling in terms of spending time with family i guess. :)
Now that summer is ending, it's time to reflect and pack things up.
My biggest regret, the one thing that makes me feel like i just wasted my whole summer away, is me not having any internships or jobs or attachments this summer. This is the one thing that i will strive to achieve in 2010! No more slacking, girl.
Otherwise, i feel satisfied. I travelled to China, KL and JB. Met Jiaqi, Malaysian friends, SNbabes, 6Rgeeks and goddess(:D who treated me to Din Tai Fung and went on a window shopping spree with me), Imperial mates, teachers, ex-colleagues, and other variety of friends. Answered my stomach cravings(food) and hand itches(shop). Satisfied my inner otaku(anime drama psp). Did many things in three months. But definitely not more than alot of people out there who chiong and manage their time down to the second XD
Havent talked about KL trip. It's basically a Buddhist Society RnR at the malaysian's house in Janda Baik. It was an eye opener seeing a 2acre plot of land, sitting in the back of a land rover driven by someone my age on mountaineous and curvy roads o.o, Walking out to a river at the back of K's house :O Playing Risk for 3-4hours! Feeding chickens and ducks, talking to a mynah who can speak canto, malay and bird, tasting strange malay kueh kuehs, sleeping till the sun shines on our buttocks, getting "lost" looking for our ride home etc etc. Despite it being essentially only 2 days in total, i must say we all had great fun and even had a general buddhist soc meeting where we achieved results :P Awesomeness.
I'm really lazy to add pictures here, and what more blog. Maybe i'll have more spirit when it go back to London. :/ Hmms.
Well, Leaving on the 27th Sept on a 2330hrs SQ flight to London Heathrow. Shall be packing for that day then. I actually can't wait, again. I miss the weather alot alot. Miss wearing layers instead of tanks and spags and shorts. But i definitely dont miss the food or the homework there. >< eek.
