Code Geass again...

You know I'm really glad to discover that I'm not the only one who has been disappointed in Code Geass lately; I was starting to think it was just me.

The series started off so well but Sunrise seems to be blowing it. Like the Order of Black Knights are suppose to be rebels right? But then why have they won all their battles? I know Lelouch lost a battle against Cornelia once but that was with a different rebel group, not Ougi's which was the group that went on to become the Order of Black Knights. Even the battle in Ep 2 was a victory for them since Lelouch accomplished his goal of getting to Clovis, killing him and saving the others from being caught.

It seriously is getting kinda lame. Britannia has a super special Knightmare so the Order gets a super special Knightmare (that's possibly better than Lancelot); Britannia has an elite group of pilots (Cornelia's unit), the Order gets Toudou and his group who are better than Britannia's pilots. Everything that Britannia has that makes them unique, the Order has to get something better of the same thing.

With the way things have been going Britannia's the one who has been coming off as the underdogs in this war, not the rebels. I'd really like to see the Order take a heavy hit, to show they're not all powerful. But with 10 episodes left I can't see that happening. Instead of wasting episodes on the lame Shirley/Lelouch/C.C./Mao plot, Sunrise should have given us something exciting.
