I wanted a new manga to read and randomly decided to try Beelzebub. It's about a delinquent (Oga) who finds a baby (Baby Beel) who turns out to be the son of the Demon King. The first part of the series is about Oga trying to find someone who is both stronger and more evil than him so he can pass Beel off to someone else. Things have since developed into a war between Baby Beel and his older brother Lord En.
I'm glad I did try it. It's a fun series between it's silly humour and mindless violence.
One of the funniest parts I think is Beel's rivalry with another (human) baby. Beel is really weak when separated from Oga and so he often gets owned by the other baby when the two are together (which alas isn't much).
Another thing I like about the story is a group of female delinquents called the Red Tails. Their leader, Aoi, is one of the best fighters in the series and she's one of the main characters. Other members of the Red Tails make up the group of secondary characters and they can kick ass just as much as any other character.
