T&B Episode 19

I hate always having to wait for the fansubs. Someone needs to remind Viz that there are more countries in North America then just the US. They have the license here but unlike with the US they've made zero move to officially release a subbed version online.

Fandom seems convinced that Kotetsu is going to be framed for Samantha's murder in the next episode. I disagree. I find that's an awfully risky plan since it involves anyone who knows Kotetsu being a complete moron to believe he's capable of such things.

Instead, I think he's going to alter Kotetsu's memories of what Kriem said to put the blame back on Jake. It's much cleaner that way. It's not like anyone can re-question Kriem.

As for Samantha there are easier ways of killing her then blaming Kotetsu. She's old, a heart attack or stroke wouldn't be unbelievable.

Or if Maverick wasn't to put the blame on someone (to toy with Barnaby) it would be easier to blame Lunatic. All it would take was some false evidence to link Samantha to Ouroboros and setting her home on fire. We already know Ouroboros has the skills to replicate Lunatic's flames so it would be easy to make it look like it was him. I can't imagine that Maverick is happy with Lunatic since Yuri keeps killing criminals before they can be caught by the Heroes and this would be a good excuse for Maverick to have Barnaby take Lunatic out.

(I did however notice Maverick never mentions Ouroboros by name, he simply mentions a criminal organization and Barnaby assumes it was Ouroboros. I don't know if that means anything or what).

As for the episode itself...

Tiger riding a tiger! *g*

Too bad there wasn't a bunny one for Bunny to ride.

This episode was awesome in terms of shipping. Kotetsu making food for Barnaby, going on a date together, Kotetsu telling Barnaby that he wouldn't leave him until everything is over, Barnaby waking up in the hospital and immediately wondering where Kotetsu was, etc.

Of course Kotetsu had to ruin things by lying to Barnaby again. And then Barnaby fell back to his "I don't need you" ways. But it was nice until that point!
