Tokyo Babylon
Currently I'm re-reading Tokyo Babylon. It's been a few years since I last read it and it's still as good as ever.
My favourite storyline (besides the main plot) is the one I just finished where Subaru has to stop those three girls who think that the world is going to end in 1999.
I love that storyline so much because you can tell it influenced CLAMP's later works. Yes, those girls were insane but the world really was going to be destroyed in 1999 and there really were warriors who were trying to save it. I had to laugh when Subaru told the girls that he wasn't one of the warriors that they were looking for. Oh Subaru, if only you knew.
That storyline also reminds me of MKR since in MKR you also had three school girls who didn't know each other come together, are revealed to be warriors and end up saving the world. The MRK girls are like the good version of the trio that appears in Tokyo Babylon.
I'm thinking about re-reading another CLAMP story next. Probably X.
