Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

I've been playing the first Phoenix Wright game lately. It was another Christmas gift. One, I never expected on getting.

I have the other three games but I got into the series after the first game was already out of print, so I never thought I'd get the first game unless I got very lucky and it was in the used section of EB Games one day.

I knew I could order it used online, but I'm not really a fan of online shopping especially when it's a site like eBay and not a company. I always figured that even if a person had a perfect rating and hundreds of happy customers, I would be the one person that would get screwed.

My brother however apparently doesn't share my fears since he bought it as my Christmas present! \o/

Now I get to see what Phoenix/Edgeworth is all about!

The game is in really good shape for being used, but there was always a nagging voice in the back of my head that said something was wrong since while the first four cases were solved, the last one wasn't. I was concerned this meant there was some sort of corrupted data with the last case.

Now, I know why.

I'm really having to force myself to get through the last case. I just don't care about these characters (except for Phoenix, Edgeworth and Gumshoe), Ema I like as an adult but she's rather annoying here, I miss having Maya around, and I'm not even sure why Phoenix is defending Lana since she doesn't want it.

The other four cases in the game? Fun! Even the ridiculously easy first case was fun since Larry Butz was in it and he amuses me. But the fifth case really seems off; like it doesn't fit in. It doesn't even have the word 'Turnabout' in the title, which all other cases in the series have.
