Persona 4
I think I've fallen a bit in love with Persona 4. I even stopped playing Chain of Memories so I could concentrate on it (I'll get back to CoM when I finish P4).
You know, before P4 was released and even when I started I thought there was no way it could live up to Persona 3. I mean P3 is one of my favourite games so I was setting myself up for a big disappointment with the 4th game.
But it's such an awesome game! And it's way better than P3!
The thing that really makes the game is the characters. They really are friends in this game. What I mean by that is in P3 you really didn't spent a lot of time with your party members outside of SEES activities. This is because only the girls had Social Links and you could only spend time with one girl because she'd get jealous and stop talking to you if you spent time with another girl.
This time though, all of your party members have their own Social Link, so you spend a lot more time hanging out with them. And dating is optional so you don't have to worry about choosing one girl over another. Because you're able to spend more time with them, they simply act more like real friends, these guys do certain things together that I really can't see the group and P3 doing; especially since they're much more laid-back, while the P3 group was so serious. You just can't help but laugh at the idiots since they're so hilarious together.
And another thing. Although there are times when the group does argue (particularly between Chie and Yosuke) it's not malicious like it was with Yukari, who really got vicious at times with Junpei and made it clear she wasn't crazy about Mitsuru.
