Hana Kimi

With the promise of gay doctors I decided to start reading Hama Kimi. I'm not very far into it yet (like chapter 28) but it's so damn cute! Normally I'm not a fan of this genre at all (and by that I mean a simple story of a girl and guy falling in love) since after so long, I get bored.

But Hama Kimi is just so cute and sweet; it's about a girl who pretends to be a boy to go to an all boy's school to be with the guy she likes.

Part of the reason I'm liking it is that it shows other pairings besides guy/girl. Mostly the reason why I dislike the typical shoujo manga (you know, the type that's just about a guy and girl falling in love) so much is because all the pairings in it are het. It's just really annoying when everyone in the story ends up paired up with someone and it's always guy/girl. Other forms of relationships exists, which a lot of your typical shoujo series ignore (one reason why I love CLAMP so much is that they show other relationships).
