A good weekend!
Gamed probably way too much, but I rode Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so I don't feel bad at all about the gaming. I hit 75 on Sunday (mental note; I still need to level train).
Every so often I have to remind myself why I don’t watch FoxNews. Most recently, I caught Glen Beck ranting about California’s deficit; some 42B dollars that the state needs to come up with just to break even. Glen Beck’s solution? Kill Manson. Yup, apparently killing Charles Manson will free up the extra money that California needs to close said 42B dollar gap between what they’re going to spend in 2009 and what they have in the coffer. I have to admit, it did make me laugh.
I putzed around the house yesterday since it wasn’t an outside day. The kitchen and bathroom were cleaned. It’s my own fault, but I can’t remember when the last time the microwave was as clean as it is. I rarely use the stove, so most of my cooking is heating up this or that, or whatever I can throw between two slices of bread. Don’t get me wrong, I think that I’m a pretty good cook, but it’s hard to cook for one person. And when I do, I usually make something that lasts a week or so and by the week’s end, I never want to eat that dish again.
