Play like you belong in the finals. The 3-point shots just weren't dopping, and when you live by the 3, you die by the 3. I'm hoping that the Magic make a better show of it Sunday eve.
I'm not a fan of horse racing, but I do make a point to watch the Triple Crown races; the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and the Belmont. The Belmont, the last of the three, is tomorrow (at 5:00pm, ABC). What makes this year special is that, for the first time ever, a jockey could win the Triple Crown riding two different horses. Calvin Borel won the Kentucky Derby on Mine That Bird, and then won the Preakness on Rachel Alexandra. He’s back on Mine That Bird for the Belmont because the owners of Rachel Alexandra didn’t enter her in the Belmont. Anyway, if you ever see an interview of Calvin, you’ll either love him or hate him. Personally, I’m hoping that he wins.
I went home and mowed the lawn. I’d promised Andy that I’d help him move the big(ger) stuff into his new room. While waiting for him to get ready, I watched Obama’s speech in Cairo. And I gotta say, I’m still very much a fan. Very, very much so.
No gaming has been done for over 48 hours. Tonight, I’m pretty sure that I’ll get some good gaming hours in, but first I need to de-weed that sidewalk and trim some of the bushes in the front yard. It should be a good weekend for putting some miles on the bike, too.
Edit:Go Roger! I'd really like to see him pick up a win at the French Open and, by doing so, completing the career grand slam. /Edit
