Alright Karma, you owe me at least one.
Last night, for the third time ever (and second time this year) a car made a left-hand turn directly in front of me. Last time this happened, the car stopped within six inches of my left calf. This time, the car did not stop. Nor did I, until I hit her passenger side door with my front tire. Nothing broke on my bike, thankfully. I'm a bit stiff this morning, mostly from tensing up I think, and there's a nice bruise on my right shoulder where I body-checked her passenger side window. But, all things considered, I walked away from this one unscathed. Well, rode away, technically.
I gamed for a bit last night, mostly worked on getting my cooking to 300 and leatherworking up to 280. I still need to grind a bunch of rugged leather to get the leatherworking to 300, so I think a trip through Silithis to commit genocide on some scorpions is in order tonight. Once all of my professions are 300+, I shouldn’t have to leave the Outlands for much more than the occasional AH run…
The Cavs came out swinging last night, but he Magic owned the 2nd quarter and made a 20+ point lead disappear into a one point lead by halftime. For their next trick, they went up by 8 in the 3rd quarter. Then, LeBron said, “Anything you can do, I can do better” and went off, carrying the Cavs to a 112-102 win. Since I predicted a Magic blow-out, I’m eating crow for lunch today. I would love for the Cavs to win this series, I really would. I just don’t think that LeBron can carry the team for two more games. And, then what, when the competition ratchets up another notch and the Championship is on the line?
