Stupid NBA
I say that with the utmost sarcasm. It was a really good game last night, even if the Cavs didn’t win. I mean, it's my own fault for getting so pumped up when the game went into overtime that I couldn’t get to sleep until 1:30. And here I was thinking that the best team in the league had half a chance to actually win a game outright. And then they let Howard dunk on them not once, not twice, but three times in a row within the first minute of overtime. I have to admit that the Magic, while streaky, are a pretty good team.
Yesterday was pretty much gorgeous, so I went for a spin after work. Nothing to strenuous, but I wanted to get some extra miles on the bike because the next time that I may ride for recreation is Saturday. We have flood warnings in effect until Friday eve. I still rode in today, though.
I made it to the outlands last night, picked up a couple of quest and was mildly surprised that every turn-in was an item upgrade. I’d forgotten how much of an improvement the outland gear is; the greens are much better than the blues that I was wearing.
More gaming tonight, while watching the Denver/LA game. I have to say, I can’t remember when I’ve been this excited about playoff basketball. Last year it was fun to watch Boston do their thing, but this year it seems like every game is a coin toss. Let’s hope Denver can steal a win on the road and take the lead in this series.
