It seems I can't let go
My sleeping patterns are becoming increasingly irregular. Yesterday evening I accidentally fell asleep from 8 pm to 11 pm, then I couldn't get to sleep until 5 am, woke up at 10 am, then continued sleeping till 12.30 pm. I worked 6.30 to 11, then came home, started reading the novel version of P.S I Love You, danced to some stuff on Channel V, then fully intended to go to bed at 2 am. I'm still here, uploading photos onto Facebook and... just not sleeping.
John and I caught up today, did a fair bit of running around to get his final items for his trip. He leaves for Hawaii tomorrow technically. Crazy. We also caught up with Jordan and Laura for a while, so that was nice. It was pretty hot today, I think around 36 degrees. My aircon isn't working lately, so the only thing that keeps me from kicking the shit out of Maggie the Magna is that she can still actually take me from A to B.
Mind you, I'm leaving a good portion of sweat and melted skin on the car seat, so only some of me gets from A to B.
Work was pretty meh. Doug and I got through two episodes of Red Dwarf, Demons & Angels, and Back to Reality, both from the fifth series. It took us two hours to get through both episodes, we had that many bloody customers. Stab stab stabbity stab. I can't wait for Darwin and Perth, it'll be great to have a break from all this. I'm going to try to go to bed. Don't think this will go well, I'm still wide awake. Sigh.
