But things will never change

I've completed all my TAFE assignments, woo hoo! *happy jig* I'm done for the year, thank god. No more thinking, no more churning out last-minute assignments, no more driving into town for classes. I am a free woman! More time for the important things - DVDs!

Yesterday was interesting. Had work, then bought Angel season one and two, and was fully prepared to watch them in one go when I got a message from Jordan inviting me to a gathering at his place. So I went. It was a good size - me, Jordan, Laura, Ape, David, Ryan, Bradley, and Tom, as well as two new guys I hadn't met before, Reece and Pudney (Pudney is his last name, fairly sure his real name is Chris). We played Spongebob Monopoly, which I have to say is pretty damn cool.

Reece was hysterical; for some reason we ended up talking about whether or not you'd grow wings by injecting seagull semen into your blood stream. Gross and ridiculous, I know, but funny at the same time. I couldn't help but notice that Pudney was rather attractive in a, well, pretty sort of way. Which then made me feel like a hypocrite, because I'm not attracted to Ryan and I've told myself it's not about looks, but then I go and find this new guy to be all good-looking and interesting, as if they're mutually exclusive. I hope I'm not that superficial.

Oh, also David was on the phone to Sam at some stage in the evening, and David put him on speakerphone in the middle of the conversation. The first thing we heard from Sam was, "I could so fuck Anne right now." Cue me going bright red, and everyone else staring at me grinning like Cheshire cats. 'Twas odd, to say the least! But Sam is a good guy, and I can't say I wouldn't have a go if he wasn't going to be a teenage father in four months. Hmm.

Anyway, it was a good night, and for most of today I've been watching episodes of Angel. I forgot how good that show is, I think I've gone through about twelve episodes. Plenty more to keep me occupied. Okay, so I'll stop rambling now. Thus ends the Saturday night hijinks of a single, possibly superficial, strangely desired by unexpected sources, girl.
