So, I really love the Mexican band called "Allison" now. They're a punk band, and I don't usually like those, but I LOVE Allison. So much. Their lyrics are awesome and their music is really great. You should listen to them...regardless of whether you know Spanish or not. ahh~!!
Anyway...I actually updated my myspace profile after a long time. The background is all pretty and green and my picture is different, too. My roots are coming out a lot...my hair grows out so quickly...gosh. Also, my profile has the song "Fragil", which is the first song I heard by Allison. I love the combination of the drums and the guitars in this song...it's really cool.
Ahh~!! For the first 8 days of November Allison will be touring the U.S.!! Ahh~!! I can't believe I can't go to any of them (one, 'cause I have no money...and also because they're going to be playing in California and Texas...which are far away. noo~!! Maybe I can use this as an excuse to go to Texas again...I liked Texas...can't stay there too long or I'll die, but still...)
My computer can finally completely read/write/whatever Japanese!! I'm so happy...I spent all of Sunday when I got back home tagging all of my Japanese music into actual Japanese, not just romanized letters. woohoo~!
Some might call spending a whole day and night tagging Sailormoon music a complete waste of time, but I think it was worth it. Someone made me realize that the reason I love Sailormoon so much is not because it's a good show (it is a good show...but it's not THAT good...I mean...it's Sailormoon, after all...haha), but because of nostalgia. Sailormoon is a show I've been watching since I was a little boy, so of course it's close to my heart, regardless of how stupid that may sound.
I went to Jaume Laiguana's website today and watched some videos of stuff he choreographed. Among them were four pieces he choreographed for Shakira's Oral Fixation Tour. Since I wasn't able to attend one of her shows like I was planning, I was very happy to at least be able to see these videos.
My favorite is the choreography he did for Shakira's song "No". Shakira was in a long, red gown while singing the song (the music was changed quite a bit, too...it was very beautiful). At the end of the song, she took the tail of her dress and waved it around like butterfly wings across the stage...it was breathtaking. I wish I could've seen that live! I hope they release a DVD of the tour like they did with the last one...I'd love to own that.
I think "No" is definitely becoming my favorite song. My favorite song was a romantic love song called "Antologia". It was a song I really identified with...and I still do. I think I tend to identify with songs a lot...it's just how it happens, I guess. Since I'm terrible with words, it's nice to know that someone has already said what I would like to say.
