Tonight I went to see Marisol play with the orchestra at a concert in Hall Auditorium. It was VERY good~! I don't usually like Classical music...but seeing it being played live like tonight was amazing. I hope to go to some more often.
After the concert, I came back to my room and decided that I would watch Death Note, since a friend told me it was a great series. I watched the first episode on youtube and I really liked it. I think it's really deep and explores the human psyche in depth as well. I love stories like that. Hopefully I'll be able to read the books as well, because I'm very interested in this series now.
Although I haven't seen much of the series, my favorite character in Death Note is definitely L. I love everything about him, and his composure is very interesting to note. What I love the most about him is that he doesn't hide what he is from people -- he shows what he is clearly in his manner of being. But he doesn't show WHO he is and that's what I love about him. I think that's something I've started to do myself since coming to this school...maybe even before that, in anticipation.
