Uh.....
Y'know, the Universe is just fucking with me. I mean, it's just not my kind of luck to get two jobs in two weeks. But, I went on an interview this morning and got a call a couple of hours later (which I missed, dammit!) from the agency I'm going through telling me that the place wants to hire me.
Odd, because they specifically told me that they had a couple more candidates to interview over the next few days. What happened to those candidates, I wonder? Am I just that good? Hehehehe.....
So, anyway, again.... I am gainfully employed and I start Thursday!!!
It's an oil and gas company that's approximately 1.3 miles away from my house. I could WALK there if circumstances ever warranted it. Salary with paid overtime (works out to $13.00/hr!), bennies, 2 weeks vacation the first year, flex time, AND I can fucking wear jeans!
And to think I didn't expect anything to come out of the interview. I was just going because it seemed like a good idea.
