(no subject)
having perused the m/m ebooks... all I can say is that fanfic has definitely spoiled me. to whit:
- wow. you sure he has a dick? Imma pretty sure mine's is bigger. take that as you may.
- my. that was refreshingly bland
- Omg. I totes read something like that in a fanfic. only with more plot and better porn.
- sometimes the word trembling is quite appropriate. just not in certain scenes and uses in which it brings to mind a trembling puppy enduring acts which violate US law.
- oh I don't think that word means what you think it.
- oh I don't think that orifice is what you think it is.
- if I have to read one more word of incredibly astute, entirely logical yet emotionally open and vulnerable grammatically perfect dialogue between two people dissecting a relationship again I might do something. idk what but it will not be pretty.
- ... *gives up and goes back to reading gokusen*
and thus ends my infrequent forays into that genre for a while. at least there are no tumescent lovesticks glistening with feminine dew. (my forays into bodice rippers in my formative years being most edifying)
