Well alot has happened during the past week. My little precious was born. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. Alexa Rose Lee is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Thursday morning Adriana, Jason, my mom, and I went to Oakwood hospital so Adri could get induced. Little did we know she was actually already contracting. Which was a good thing. She did however get some medicine to help speed things along. She was also given some drug to help her cope with the pain. And boy did that work. I have never laughed so hard in my life. She was acting like she was drunk and high at the same time. It was hilarious. But of course drugs wear off and the pain came back. At this point they gave her an epideral. Dear god that looked painful. If she would not have gotten it there would have been no way that Adri could have had that baby. Myself, Jason, and my mom were in the delivery room the whole time.
Being a witness to Alexa's birth is something that I will never ever forget. It was gross but amazing. Seeing her for the first time filled me with such an emotion. I cant even really describe it. She cried and opened her eyes right away. She looked right at her daddy the second she came out. Alexa will definetly be a dadday's girl. She is strong, stubborn, and beautiful. A carbon copy of her parents. I hope the best for Adriana, Jason, and their new little girl. Love you guys.
