so i'm at home depot, right? (don't ask why) and i'm in the parking lot, right? and i lock my keys in the car, right? but i didn't just lock them in...i left them in AND i left the car running.
ok, so, i go up to the entrance and go "i have a problem..." eventually this older man that works at home depot comes over, finds that all of my windows are rolled up tight and keys are inside and car is on. SO he then proceeds to go inside for 20ish minutes and calls subaru and the police.
subaru said that all of their service people are out helping others in similar situations and cannot help me. the police say they can't open up my car door and fuck with the lock because it will fuck up the computer in the car (because my locks are automatic) AND that it will trip something in the alarm system so that MY CAR WILL SET ITSELF ON FIRE.
can you comprehend that? the security system the previous owner put in my car, can spontaneously combust. WHAT?! i looked at him and went "are you sure?" and he said that the police said it's happened before with other cars with the same system.
so don't break into my car or you will die in a horrible firey death.
eventually my dad comes with the other key and unlocks it. i shut car off, go into home depot and find that they don't even have what i'm looking for.
