It is my privilege to congratulate you on your daughter's nomination to be a Scholar at the National Young Leaders Conference.
Founded in 1985, and with 400 members of Congress on our Honorary Congressional Board of Advisors, the NAtional Young Leaders Conference is the premier leadershiop program in the country designed for the nation's best and brightest high school scholars.
For 6 days, Kathryn will have the opportunity to witness our nation's democracy in action blah blah blah blah blah. Together with other young leaders from all across the country, Kathryn will go behind-the-scenes blah blah blah and recieve an insider's view of Washington and the public policy process. blah blah blah blah blah
Kathryn will have the opportunity to strengthen her leadership abilities, her creativity, and come to better understand the rights and responsiblities of all Americans. blah blah blah
During the Conference, a pecial college admissions seminar will allow Kathryn to meet and speak with a college admissions counselor. Topics for discussion include: choosing the right college, the college application, declaring a major, the all-important college essay, letters of recommendation and financial aid. blah blah blah blah blah.
blah blah blah blah blah, the NYLC is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. blah blah blah I look forward to personally meeting her.
