[When the video flickers on, you get a face-full of a stoic, bespectacled girl standing in the midst of a busy and rather cozy-looking pokemon center. There is a chansey tugging at her sleeve to the bottom right of the screen, murmuring worried-sounding effects but which she ignores with the ease of someone who is very, very used to ignoring things she doesn't want to see.
Judging from the ice still crusted in her hair and eyebrows and a bluish tinge to her lips that are slowly regaining its original color, she had been outside recently -- and for a long time at that. Come to think of it, the last time she checked in, wasn't she in New Bark Town?

She pushes up her pair of goggles. There is an icicle dangling from the frame like a Christmas ornament.]

[There is a long pause. The icicle dangling from the frame of her goggles drips onto the carpet unceremoniously. When she speaks again, her voice is in monotone (though, to be fair, it has always been).]
I have arrived in Cherrygrove.
[Long. Awkward. Pause. She lowers her head.]
It appears that the weather outside is unfit for travel. [The icicle drips some more, rhythmically.] I would advise that all traveling parties remain indoors until further notice.
