I used to have posters all over my walls.
Then I met Bastian- and he is a complete weirdo about "clutter"....
I have tried really really hard to accomodate-
This is literally the only remnant of those posters that once plastered my apartment-
and it's not even a poster. Its the flyer for the last Striking Distance show from 2003.
Crystal and I drove through ice and snow- all the way through to D.C. in about 25 hours or so.
We were in Washington D.C. for about 24 hours then we left for Texas.
The show was one of the best I have ever seen-
Desperate Measures shared their set with Far From Breaking-
and No Justice played like 3 songs.
The excruciating drive up there and back was completely worth it.
My taste in hardcore music is still stuck in 2003.
Now that I think about it- I can't think of any bands that I genuinely like these days that aren't either from Texas- or aren't non-hardcore.
What happened?!
