Seriously, just wanted to surface, wave at all of you nice people, and then disappear into the abyss yet again. Reasons for my absence...
....new job. Has me running in twelve directions at once and forgetting to eat. But in a good way, I swear.
....new digs. My lovely apartment, situated in an old Victorian house not-quite-in-the-ghetto of Columbus. Moving has been a continuous and ongoing process for the past two weeks or so. I love my books, I really do, until I have to carry ten boxes of them up a damn spiral staircase. Ah well....housewarming details to follow.
....the frailty of the human form. Or, in simple terms, I got sick. Really sick. Two trips to the ER sick! And of course it happened right as I was trying to see my sister and brother in Maryland for Thanksgiving AND move at the same time. Ugh. But it's getting better now, two antibiotics and some fun painkillers later.
So, yeah. Been a busy little reindeer. Don't take it personally, unless you have reason to believe that I was actually avoiding you on purpose, in which case...I don't know. Call me and find out. As a great philosopher once said, "Whatever, dude."
