And in yur LJs readin' ur postz.
Okay so very brief update: I am still in Australia. I miss all my UK people very, very much. However I am having a good time here and well,
Astro_dust is here.
I now work for a BOOZE company. They have a free bar on Thursday and Friday evenings. Joyous.
I am masquerading as a Talent and Operational Development Advisor, which basically means I identify all the people they should probably keep (the wheat), whilst 'accidentally' highlighting all the staff they can afford not to 'massage' (the chaff). I was working for a giant uber-mega-horror bank, which I sort of enjoyed (oh god, the damage to my soul) as a Remuneration Analyst. This meant I was making sure that all the busy-bee workers got their bonus values, and calculated ther inclusion in several thousand millionty billion fiddly little schemes. The bonus value of some of these people exceeded, in one year, the total income of my entire life. This made me a horrified yet still sad panda. Despite this, I had intended to stay with said mega uber horror bank and learn about international mobility, I.E. sending worker drones of fairly high level out to Vietnam, or Qatar etc, which did interest me in a legal/logistical sense. However my Agency randomly got off their arses and checked out the legalities and it seems that being with a Host Employer (despite not being employed by your host) for more than 6 months, on my visa, made Australian baby jesus weep salty tears of illegality. So I had to leave. Wah-sickles. Hence, I got the Booze job. Like a boob-job, but with less physical change on my part. I still jiggle when I jump up and down.
Um.
What else.
I miss everyone....Wah.
It is really hot here and I cannot get into the Christmas spirit. I love my flatmate to death, and things are brilliant with the other half and his family are lovely. I have several awesome friends here that I know I will bug with my presence forever. This doesn't ameliorate the missing of you guys in the UK.
The UK. THE FUCK. What the hell is going on?! Bloody hell I thought the Lib Dems would be a positive partner in a coalition arrangement. Waaaaaaaaahhhhh.
I am still role playing a considerable amount, I have no intention of growing up anytime soon.
Did I mention I miss people a metric shedload ?
