Two posts that have nothing to do with one another:

Almost 7 years to the date of having watched it (Valentine's Day, 2000), I'm still having nightmares about the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now do you see why I didn't want to watch the sequel,

The sequel is a delightful romp compared to the original...Even though it does still feature someone's face being cut off completely via an electric steak knife (not to mention what nearly happens in the radio station). I try to catch it around V-day whenever I can, especially now that the special edition is finally out. The Saw Is Family!!!!

Japanese is hard. 4 weeks? Good luck. Pura didn't speak it and she's doing fine, so you should be okay as well. I doubt anyone would pull out a sword and cut you down just because you don't know their language. I doubt.

And laughed heartily the entire time. That's why I said you were right. Oh, Dennis Hopper... what a silly cad! And, naturally, I remember vividly what happened at the radio station. We watched that all together before you lived at J.P. Guxum's.

Man, that makes me miss you all the more!
