[That had been nice, really, the picnic and reading and stargazing for a while. But it was getting late, and she needed to be getting back before curfew, and now they were outside her dorm just under a streetlamp.]

That was really nice...

[Oh boy, here we go. This is always the most nerve wracking part of a date. Especially when he hasn't kissed the girl before. What if she doesn't want him to kiss her? What if he goes for it and is rebuffed? He guesses it can't hurt to ask.

He smiles at her, stepping closer and looking down at her.]

Can- can I kiss you, Alice?

[She almost doesn't hear the question, with how her heart is pounding and there are a thousand thoughts running through her head. She's moved in a little closer, tilting her chin up, and then it registers. A little color comes to her cheeks, and the words catch in her throat, but she nods.]

[That little nod is all he needs to see. He takes a breath, relaxing. She wants this.

He reaches up and using one finger, strokes the hair out of her eyes before raising his other hand to cup her cheek. Slowly, giving her time to pull away if she wants, he leans in and gently brushes his lips over hers.]

[But she doesn't want to pull away; it's like magic to her. Simple, sweet magic.]

[He takes her staying close as encouragement and deepens the kiss, using more pressure and parting his lips over hers so he can touch her upper lip with the tip of this tongue. He hopes he isn't going too far.]

Mmm...

[It's not too far at all, and she parts her lips. Part of her is nervous, but that part isn't going to stop her.]

[That soft sound sends a shiver down his spine and he tilts his mouth over hers, slipping his tongue between her lips to slide against hers as he pushes his fingers into her hair.]

-She storms into the pottery room, throws her bag down, and grabs Haru by the collar. She has a "death on two legs" look in her eyes.-

[His eyes widen and he nearly jerks back in fear.]

Mo- Mokou! What's wrong?

-She doesn't answer. At least not with words. What does, in fact, happen, is a strong, passionate kiss.-

[His shock only lasts a few seconds before he's kissing back, just as passionately. It seems like he's been waiting for this forever.]

-Which was precisely the point. A few moments of heavy make out later, Mokou forces them apart and lets out a deep sigh.-

There. It's done. Now can we move on with our lives?

[Haru's pretty dazed, panting hard, and at first he doesn't understand.]

Wha- what? [Then realization hits him and he groans, rubbing his hand down his face.]

That's not fair.

Hey, you and I both knew that we weren't going to get ANYwhere with our respective love lives until we got that out of our system, so don't complain.
