SUMMARY: The new guy does all the cleaning. FACT.
It had been ten years since Sanji had been "the new guy," so he'd forgotten how much it sucked. Granted, this time around he was actually allowed near a stove (and not violently kicked in the head when he attempted to get near one), and he wasn't treated like a little kid, but it still wasn't much of a step up, especially coming from being the sous chef in a very successful restaurant.
For example, being the new guy on the cafeteria staff meant he got to clean all the tabletops and floors between meals, which was what he was doing then, hands marginally protected by rubber gloves while he scrubbed up a mixture of corn and beans. It made him furious to see food disrespected (and wasted) this way, but he knew that kids would be kids... annoyingly.
Didn't stop him from grumbling about it to himself, with rather colorful language at that. And just loud enough that anyone walking in the door would probably hear him...
